HOT TOOTH.

 Hello one and all,

"Your Dental Compadre" is sweltering, yup it's feeling extremely hot.

Opps! You guys might be thinking, how could someone be feeling hot, that too in winter season? 

Doesn't it sound weird? Ahh! What exactly does it mean?

Okay, let's spill the beans, it's more about the tooth.

Haha! Yes, we are going to have a word on 'HOT TOOTH'.

What is Hot Tooth?



Please, don't start picturing as if the tooth has gotten 'Muscles and Abs'. Jokes apart, it is considered to be a painful condition, in which anyone could experience extreme pain.

It refers to be a condition in which, pulp that has been diagnosed with irreversible pulpitis, with spontaneous, moderate to severe pain and it is difficult to anaesthetize.

Symptoms:



- Typical example of Hot tooth is, if the person is sitting in the waiting area and sipping on a large glass of ice water to aid control the pain.


- Pain on biting.

- Pain may radiate to opposite arch.

- Earlier presentation: There might be lingering pain in response to cold.

- Later presentation: Intense pain in response to heat, relieved by cold water.
